Excellent all around. The whole process was very smooth and easy from putting in a request to having a tech come out and evaluate, showed us our options. They didn’t push a new unit on us but due to the age of ours it was time. Chris and Cameron were our installers and they did a great job. Recently had Ideal Conditions come out to give an estimate to replace my roof. The sales guy was fantastic and he gave me a great price!! We could never keep out house including upstairs bonus room cool during these hot summer days. I didn't think it was possible. It is roasting outside and our home and new system will maintain our desired temperature consistently like never before. Patrick & Caleb installed our new Trane A/C condenser and air handler. They were here for approximately 8 hours, did an impeccable job, were accommodating to our requests and concerns. When they let you would be had pressed to know anyone had been here it was so clean.

I cannot recommend this company enough! I did a lot of research and called numerous different companies before choosing Ideal conditions because my husband is on deployment and I really had no idea what needed to be done. When they did the initial quote the guy was very informative and even spoke with my husband over the phone to explain that we needed an entirely new unit. After choosing them, they were out here the next business day and spent all day making sure everything was done correctly. Even after spending over 8 hours here the 3 gentleman offered to help jumpstart my husband's truck because the battery died. Their employees are amazing and the unit they installed looks and works great!

Ideal Conditions has been taking care of my 2 units since I bought my home 13 years ago. Russell and Jose were out Mon for my 6 month service. They were timely, professional and thorough. They were unable to pinpoint the problem with one of the units, so a service call brought Ethan in on Tue. He identified the problem. We discussed next steps and I decided to replace my units. I appreciate that they always work to repair and don't push to replace. Friday Patrick, Caleb, Sean, Cody and Antwan arrived to remove and install new units, and rework the attic ducting. The team spent the day ensuring everything was perfect. They laid down drop cloths, vacuumed and swept inside and outside, ensuring my house was clean before they left. Mr. Massey provided written and detailed information for the work his company did to my house. Ideal Conditions installed new plenums/flex duct system to city building codes.

We had our AC go out on Memorial Day weekend. The people I used to used and had purchase the unit from told me that no one will be able to see me till Tuesday, I have my granddaughter at home and could not keep here with the heat in the house, called them on Sunday afternoon when the AC was not working at all and they had a tech at my house with in 1 hour and got the unit temp fix, gave me a quote on Tuesday and by Friday was repair.

Long story short, another AC company decided to sell me a top of the line system. 2.5 years later, I have multiple system malfunctions and have been experiencing redundant component failures. Ideal Conditions was willing to work around my schedule. Tom, the owner, personally came out to meet me with Sean, his service technician, at 6 PM. They analyzed everything and even did something that no other company did; they measured the airflow (CFM’s) from each of my 27 vents with an Alnor Hood. I had deficiencies on both my return and supply side of the system. This was a calculation that was not done by the installing company. Instead, they just walked around and “estimated” the CFM’s. Tom and Sean did not guess and put pencil to paper with facts. Afterwards, they analyzed my duct work and my system was operating at a 1.2 static pressure, which is death to the life of system components. Since a Carrier Infinity Zone System is extremely sensitive to static pressures, this had to be addressed. This by no means was a small task. In fact, most companies run at this point or try to sell you something else. After asking NUMEROUS questions, I decided to go forward with contracting Ideal Conditions. Mike, Sean, Jason, and Tommy’s attention to detail is something like I have never seen. Even though 99% of the work won’t be seen in the attic, they made sure everything was perfect. Everything is picture perfect from the way they designed the duct system, the way they hung the duct system, the joints at the plenum boxes, the wiring all neatly tucked and tacked into place, and the duct box to the air handler was reinforced. They added a fresh air intake to my system with an air filter to provide for a cleaner air profile and to keep the house in a positive pressure state which helps with the overall dust factor in a home. They fixed my house air filter system and replaced the wiring that was spliced 4 ways from the original installer. The system was “sweating” profusely due to the static pressure and even though this was fixed, they added extra insulation and replaced existing insulation that was damaged by the water. They also discovered that the system was jury rigged to work, so they drained the system of the Freon, put a line dryer on it, and replaced with virgin Freon and did a complete fresh install startup. During the duct install, they discovered some water pipes were inconveniently ran. Instead of just working around it, I discovered they actually have an electrical and plumbing department as well. Marti and Chris came out on Day 2 to re run the water pipes in a more convenient way that was aesthetically amazing. Not only that, the water pipes were rerouted so that they were not in danger of any damage from the high traffic area. This house is 25 years old. For 25 years this was just “worked around.” Ideal Conditions and their plumbing department did this out of true attention to detail and care. This detour also did not affect my bill. The end result was achieving 98% on the supply air. Anything 90% and over is considered a success. It originally was 76%. The static pressure was originally a whopping 1.2. Afterwards it was .25 on a normal operating stage. They also provided 3 complimentary filters. They say character is doing the right thing when no one is looking. It is so hard to find a company that will do the install the correct way, especially when that install involves house systems in the attic that the homeowner won’t see. Ideal conditions went above and beyond on this project, which was a large undertaking and a mess to walk into. The owner, Tom, was personally on site each day. The crew all worked tirelessly with absolute attention to detail and aesthetics. This company represents Honesty, Integrity, and Craftsmanship of the highest standards possible. I love Ideal Conditions, they always take good care of my system and are quick to help find solutions, be proactive with the AC care and provide helpful support whenever needed. I still stand by one of the best companies I've done business with, period.

Within a short time I was able to contact the weekend on-call service and Josh Sauer made it out to help check the system in a timely manner! No charge as part of my maintenance plan! I usually don’t post reviews but all I can say is my experience with this company was nothing but outstanding. I first called because my AC unit was turning off and on while making a clicking noise. Damon and Hector came out to troubleshoot and found a leak. They told me with how old my system was it would just be a Band-Aid. But they would do whatever I wanted them to do. We finally decided on getting a new system and a hot water heater with it. When they install team came out with Cody, Caleb and Patrick they were nothing but professional. It’s kind of worried when I so a group of the young men to install here all my system. But there were nothing but courteous and professional, and for a better lack of term perfectionist when they saw something that didn’t quite look the way they wanted it to look they went back and fixed it right in there. This is my first time ever reviewing a company, and I hope these young men get the accolades. They deserve not only for me, but from their company.

We have been with Ideal Conditions since we had a new system installed over 10 years ago. Our latest service call was on 01/22/2025, one of the coldest days ever in Jacksonville with freezing rain and even some light snow in parts. Our outside unit was literally encased in a block of ice and stopped running. Our service technician, Kevin, arrived as scheduled and got right to work. They always send a text message when they are on the way. He worked through all the diagnostics and even called Mike, the service manager, to get some issues clarified. We have been under a continuous maintenance agreement and receive two service visits per year. It’s a great investment in our HVAC system. As a veteran myself, we always try to support veteran owned businesses like Ideal Conditions. They are simply the best.

7/11/2022 - Mike E. was here and verified the issue that Russell found and determined I needed a new evaporator coil due to the current one being rusted out and leaking. I am happy that was found and Mike was able to quickly order the new parts that were still under warranty. He also made sure that the A/C would keep me cool while they got the parts and scheduled the repair. Thank you.
7/18/2022 - Chris was here and installed the new evaporator coil and got me back up and running. He even worked after hours and in the rain to get the job done. Definitely appreciate everyone for keeping my HVAC system happy during the heat of the summer. By the way, Tawanna, Nicole, and Lauren in the office are awesome as well and deserve just as much credit as the team in the field for getting all of this taken care of and keeping me one happy customer. It’s definitely because of the work you all do to keep it running great. I’ll update again tomorrow after I have my ventilation ducts cleaned by your group, but I have the utmost confidence that whoever shows up to do that will be great as well. 1/4/2022 - Josh and Mike were just here taking care of my mini-split because it wasn't cooling. They fixed the coolant leak quickly and everything is back up and running again. I'm always happy that this company is around to keep my HVAC systems in tip-top shape. Thanks guys!!!

6/24/2022 - Russell was here and checked on my HVAC for it's scheduled maintenance and found an issue that I wouldn't have known was there if it wasn't for your group checking my HVAC every 6 months. Thank you.
7/11/2022 - Mike E. was here and verified the issue that Russell found and determined I needed a new evaporator coil due to the current one being rusted out and leaking. I am happy that was found and Mike was able to quickly order the new parts that were still under warranty. He also made sure that the A/C would keep me cool while they got the parts and scheduled the repair. Thank you.
7/18/2022 - Chris was here and installed the new evaporator coil and got me back up and running. He even worked after hours and in the rain to get the job done. Definitely appreciate everyone for keeping my HVAC system happy during the heat of the summer. By the way, Tawanna, Nicole, and Lauren in the office are awesome as well and deserve just as much credit as the team in the field for getting all of this taken care of and keeping me one happy customer. Thank you.

12/11/2023 - Logan and Cody were here to install new lines in my attic due to a freon leak that was in the foundation of my house. They did great and all is well with my HVAC system again. Thanks again Logan and Cody.
12/28/2023 - Well unfortunately the new lines sprung a leak, but Loren in the office was able to get Mike Eagle out here to diagnose the issue and tomorrow Logan will be back to fix it. Thanks again Loren and Mike. I really appreciate it.

I recently had my service completed, and I am consistently pleased with the staff. They maintain a high level of professionalism, take their time to explain the work that was done, and never pressure you into purchasing anything. Punctual, knowledgeable, and always tidy. Today, Damon provided service, and I was thoroughly impressed. We decided to install two surge protectors, which is a more cost-effective option than relying on JEA. Update: After years of service, my 23 year old unit finally called it quits. Ideal Conditions were able to come out the next day and install a new unit! They were professional, informative, kind, and cleaned up after themselves leaving zero mess for me to clean up. My recommendation for this company continues!

UPDATE: Miro came out to the house today and did a full maintenance inspection and was outstanding! I had some issues with my AC and he was quick to diagnose the issue.

Our tech, Ronald Monroe, was great! He came out for a routine maintenance check, was on time, and really nice! I love how reliable ideal contortions had been over the years. They’re always understanding with payment schedules, my a/c I always running smooth, and the techs are always doing their best to keep us comfortable and within budget.

Excellent service from Sean Casey, he was upfront and honest with me, fixed my problem and told me I have years left on this unit. I would highly recommend Ideal Conditions! My AC stopped working, I had a well known company come out to fix it, only for it to have the same issue a month later. The company told me my unit wasn’t going to last much longer and I needed a new one, they gave me price quotes. I’m a single woman who doesn’t know much about AC’s and I feel they were taking advantage of my situation.
Ronald Monroe came out recently and took great care of my system. I always appreciate how professional & timely their technicians are. My former landlord used Ideal when I lived in her condo and was very impressed. A few years ago I used them to install a new system and not only do they do a fantastic job, they also regularly remind me about maintenance and advise me of potential issues to ensure I always stay cool. Great decision for my home. Highly recommend.
Ideal conditions is a reputable a/c company. I had them fully replace my unit in my condo in 2017 and use their service contract. The contract followed when I bought my house. I’ve had a few service calls with an older unit and since I had a contract I got a discount if I need repairs or my service call was free if it was after hours. Russell and then Ronald had serviced my unit in my house for me; both are very professional and very thorough with my unit. Loren is always very friendly and professional when I call to make an appointment. Everyone I have encountered with Ideal Conditions throughout the years have been very professional and I will continue to use them for my a/c maintenance.
We have experienced the best service from Ideal Conditions over any other air conditioner service company we have worked with! We have been loyal customers for years because of their professionalism, knowledge and quick responsiveness. I say they because I am referring to multiple people that I have interacted with over the years. Our previous unit lived its life and needed to be replaced. We had the new one installed by this company. It has been working great for years. The builder of the house made the access point to the attic very inconvenient in a closet. They built a much better access spot & it is works much better! We recommended Ideal Conditions when my parents-in-law needed a new unit & they have been loyal customers for years too!
Beginning of hurricane season, it was 95 degrees INSIDE my house. I thought my AC was completely broken. I called Ideal Solutions and Loren answered the phone. She was so understanding and so professional. She assured me she could have someone come out that same day and within 3 hours at that! She even called me with an ETA of the technician. Tom arrived within the timeframe the said and he went through every aspect of my outside unit as well as my 26 year old air handler. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a way I could understand. He took time to explain it so I could understand and did not try to upswell me , instead he gave me a discount and 24 month written guarantee on their work. The scheduled the work for the next morning and they came exactly on time! Tom introduced me to the technician Kevin and the work began. My condenser fan motor was replaced, new capacitor and a complete pull and clean needed to be done and leak seal added. My old unit works fantastic now! Kevin, the tech was amazing and kind and explained everything I needed to know including how to properly flush my system with vinegar at least once a month. He also had to relocate a cooling pipe and add a piece so that I could easily get to it. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and it took quite a bit of time and labor about 5 hours but he didn’t complain he kept working. I’m so happy with the service Ideal Solutions provided me that i will only use them from now on. They are the real deal and from the office to the field, the staff are top notch. I highly recommend them for your air / heating needs. In fact Tom mentioned that indeed they do electrical work so you already know I will be calling Ideal Solutions for all my work. Thank you Kevin and Tom for such fine work. Even down to the mention of making sure my cats don’t escape from the door, y’all have a new customer for life!
