One of the few companies that still values people over the bottom line. Mike and Cameron were honest, professional and very helpful. They fixed the problem and were a pleasure to have in our home. We’ve been with them for over 10 years and cannot recommend them highly enough!

I have been an Ideal Conditions Heating & Air customer for several years. I previously used another company that became unresponsive to my HVAC needs before I found Ideal Conditions. Since making the switch, I have received great customer service. Scheduling has been easy, each Tech has been friendly and thorough. They have explained each option for repair or maintenance and given recommendations on what would fit my needs best. Tom, the owner, recently came out and was able to make sure my system was placed in the most efficient settings. This is a no pressure, no nonsense company that provides prompt response, good service, at a fair price. I’ll remain a customer of this local, veteran owned, business as long as I am in the area.

I had my old hvac company come out 2 days ago, claiming my compressor died during this killer cold snap as our heat stopped working. I decided to call Ideal Conditions to come out, and give me a free 2nd opinion. I wanted to make sure I needed to spend several thousand dollars for a new compressor first. We'll, Ideals tech Mike Eagle came out the next day and was able to fix the issue that turned out to not be the compressor. Some testing and a new starter assist was all that was needed. Instead of spending thousands for something that was not needed, Mike knew what the heck he was doing, and my system is now running like new. Thank you Mike and Thank you Ideal! Calling your company was the best free 2nd opinion I could have asked for.

January 15, 2026 Technician Cameron came out to do a Free second opinion on my Compressor not working and he was here for 3 hrs on the phone with Mike helping him with the diagnostic. He told me it needed a new component board for the outside unit and I was all set. Something told me to turn the unit on in the inside and the outside unit came on but not the inside unit so I was able to catch Cameron before he left and call him back into the house to let him k ow that the system wasn’t coming on and he calll Mike to let him know and he came to let me know that the blower wasn’t coming on and I said why it was working a minute ago and he said that Mike told him that it was part of the issue. That’s not true the blower wasn’t coming working and now they have messed up my blower trying to diagnose my unit by wiring the system and turning up the unit putting it in emergency mode!!!
To reiterate from my other review post Today January 17, 2026 Mike the supervisor came out to take care of the blower and he replaced a relay fuses for my blower to work and he put some wires back in place on the defrost board to get me some heat in my house thank God for that becauseI didn’t have a running system for a couple of days. I was satisfied with Mike service today.

As a business consultant, I regularly work with many different companies and contractors. Based on my experiences, I had very little confidence in the local workforce, as workmanship in this part of Florida often falls short, and even well-known companies can be unreliable.
I was introduced to this company through a City of Jacksonville employee who personally recommended them. After meeting with eight different HVAC companies, they clearly stood out and ultimately earned my business. Their approach was not sales-driven; instead, they were genuinely focused on helping me make the best decision, which I value greatly. I never felt like just another dollar sign. While they were not the least expensive option, they were by far the most honest and offered superior workmanship and equipment.
From my very first meeting with Tom, I immediately noticed his warmth, sincerity, and professionalism. He was extremely kind and took the time to walk me through the entire process in a clear and reassuring manner. The installation team—Jacob, Patrick, Sean, and Mike—was phenomenal. They arrived at my home at 9:00 a.m. and worked diligently until after 6:00 p.m. throughout the entire day. They were courteous, professional, organized, and maintained a clean work environment, which I truly appreciated.
The quality of the installation was exceptional. My parents had their AC system replaced last year by one of the largest HVAC companies in Jacksonville, and the level of workmanship they received does not compare to what I experienced with Ideal. That is when I truly recognized the significant difference between this company and others in the area.
Another aspect I greatly appreciated is that Ideal properly pulled a mechanical permit through the City of Jacksonville and ensured that a city inspector came out to inspect the work. Many companies claim they pull permits but often do not, and many homeowners are unaware of this. It is admirable that Ideal Conditions operates with such honesty and integrity.

I’m very satisfied with my prompt, professional and courteous service. Kevin Barrozo came out the same day and repaired my unit. My WiFi thermostat went dark and I could not reset it. I thought my unit was gone right before Christmas. But he fixed it! He explained what was wrong, what he did to repair it and recommended routine maintenance, which I gladly accepted. I’m very pleased with the service I received.

I called about a possible mold issue in my AC handler and Josh was able to come out for an initial inspection within 24 hours. He was extremely thorough—checking the AC handler, ductwork, and every vent. He took the time to explain everything clearly, why certain services were needed, and gave me a great deal. He also recommended and explained the benefit of installing an MX4, which I really appreciated.
I was able to schedule the work within a week on a day that worked best for me. Jacob and Patrick came out to handle the cleaning, sterilizing, and MX4 installation. They were so friendly, kind, and respectful—especially with my two toddlers running around. They worked quickly but were still very detailed and intentional, explaining each step as they went so I understood exactly what was being done and why.
Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will absolutely use this company again for any and all future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

I recently needed to relocate my AC and a mini split condenser. I googled, and had several companies coming over for a quote. Ideal Conditions, was one of them. What made me choose them, not only their price was way better than the others but it's how everyone was super nice and courteous, from the people who answered the phone to schedule me the initial appointment with Logan, who by the way was super efficient and professional and to the point, gave me a quote right there and explained to me exactly how it was going to be done. Then, right before my schedule appointment, my AC unit stopped working. I called the company that had installed my AC system and they came told me i needed new coils or something like that, quoted me an astronomical amount of money. Needless to say, I will never used them again. Ideal Conditions came, quoted me a much better price. Sean and Antoine were the best technicians, respectful, genuinely kind people. They worked tirelessly, always with a smile. They relocated my units and fixed the problem. My only regret is not using their services sooner. I can’t recommend Ideal Conditions highly enough. The entire experience was outstanding, and they will be my to go company for any HVAC issues. Thank you for a work well done, I'm incredibly grateful for your service.
